These days, I tend to wear neutral shades on my eyes. I kind of like the fresh, barely-there look on my lids for now – but, I’m definitely not doing away with the black eyeliner! Today, we look at one of my first eyeshadows from Benefit – the Velvet Eyeshadow in Fawn Over Me - a shimmery, beigey light brown which Benefit describes as “café au lait”.

Product Review: China Glaze For Audrey Nail Lacquer
I wear Tiffany jewellery everyday. When you see me you’ll probably think, “Whoa, this girl is such a huge Tiffany fan, I can’t believe it!” - well, at least that’s what I’ve been told (though I am now secretly considering Chanel earrings… and Bulgari!).
Anyways, who doesn’t love Tiffany Blue? It’s beautiful! :) However, as Tiffany & Co holds the trademark to that brilliant hue, nobody else is allowed to use or reproduce it. In 2007, China Glaze released a shade of nail lacquer which closely resembles Tiffany Blue, in honour of Audrey Hepburn. Aptly named For Audrey, this is a colour no Hepburn / Tiffany fan should be without!

Louis Vuitton “Noel” Christmas Brochure 2010 ❄
In 2011, I Resolve To…
❄ Merry Christmas, all! ❄
I hope you have all done your last-minute Christmas shopping! ;) I went out today on a shopping trip and boy, was it crowded at Coach (and everywhere else)!
Every year, I make a point to send Christmas cards the old-fashioned way to people I don’t get to see often, and to my law lecturers and school directors. I picked these up yesterday. My favourite’s the one of Santa’s wife chiding him for not having Christmas off, LOL!
2011 is fast approaching. Before I welcome yet another brand new year, let me make a list of resolutions (and hopefully stick to it)! *fingers crossed*
A Snippet of My Weeknight: Gala Premiere of Tron: Legacy (in 3D) at The Cathay on 13 December 2010
It was a rainy evening, but the weather did not deter the crowds from trudging towards The Cathay at Handy Road for the premiere of one of the most anticipated films of the season. It was nice to bump into one of my friends from Law, who wrote on my Facebook wall the night before saying that he would also be attending the gala premiere, and who ended up sitting right behind me in the theatre! Dude, if you’re reading this, hello again! :)
The only way to win is to survive.
Chanel Event: The Art of Baudruchage at Marina Bay Sands on 9 December 2010
The event lasted about an hour, during which guests were served drinks and fancy canapés. Unfortunately, all of us were told that no photography was allowed, which is a pity as I had been looking forward to sharing pictures with you! Oh well. :( On a brighter note, I found some good pictures at Metro’s Facebook page - those were taken at the event held at Paragon on 10 and 11 December 2010. Go check them out!

What Every Beneholic Should Have: Benefit Cosmetics Fall/Holiday 2010 Catalog
Most of you would have gotten your copy of Benefit’s Fall/Holiday 2010 catalog, which features the latest Benefit products (and some other interesting stuff!). I got my copy when I popped by Sephora some weeks ago, and boy, does the cover rock! :) I always look forward to flipping through my “Benefit bible” (the term was coined by Skye, btw, when he realised my obsession with Benefit). You’ll find my copy tattered in no time at all!
Product Review: RoC Energising Cleansing Mousse
As it was my first taste of the “real world”, I was under stress and had trouble sleeping. The environment was so polluted that I had fine specks of dust all over my face whenever I was at work. Needless to say, there were new blemishes on my skin almost every day. It didn’t help that I was rather ignorant about skin care at that time!
Obviously, I was very upset at the condition of my skin. In an attempt to remedy the situation, I tried many brands of facial washes and blemish-healing products, but it seemed to me that they only worsened my skin condition. My cheeks were flushed most of the time (not in a nice way), and every time after I cleanse my skin, red spots would appear temporarily on my face, specifically, above my lips.
One day after work, I stumbled upon RoC, a French skin care brand which offers dermatologically-developed, hypoallergenic products, at a pharmacy. Having tried so many skin care brands which did absolutely nothing for my skin (and some even worsening my skin condition), I was naturally skeptical about RoC products.
It took the advisor a long while to convince me to try out their (recently discontinued) Foaming Facial Wash. I purchased the product and expected to see angry red bumps after usage. To my surprise, there was no adverse reaction. In fact, it cleansed my skin really well! Soon after, I went back and purchased some of their products targeted at reducing blemishes. I continued using the Foaming Facial Wash and did repurchase it many times until it was discontinued recently.
The Foaming Facial Wash, although awesome, needed an improved packaging. The wash was contained in a plastic triangular tube with a snap cap opening at the base, and I often found product leaking out of it. So, RoC finally did something about it – they replaced the Foaming Facial Wash with the Energising Cleansing Mousse!
Formulated for all skin types (even sensitive skin), the gentle Energising Cleansing Mousse works to thoroughly cleanse and revitalise skin.
