Winners of Benefit Cosmetics b.right! Radiant Skincare Deluxe Kit

Wow wow wow! I’m really impressed with the entries you’ve all sent in for the Benefit Cosmetics b.right! Radiant Skincare giveaway. I received so many entries, I had difficulty deciding the winners. Whilst I wish that you could all be winners, there can only be five of you. :(

The answer to the first question, b.right! Radiant Skincare is the latest skincare essentials by Benefit that cleanse, moisturise and specialise for a radiantly refreshed, lit from within look. It is an ideal makeup prep that allows your makeup to go flawlessly without caking or sliding.”, is obviously TRUE. I’m pleased that all of you got this right! :)

Here are the five winners with their answers to the second part of the giveaway, “Tell me, in no less than 50 words, why you should be one of the five lucky winners.”

What I’m Reading: Chanel Perfume by Francoise Aveline

Been a while since my last “What I’m Reading” post! I’ve been reading quite a bit recently. I’m pleased that reading is a part of my evening routine now! :)

I’m just going to share one of the few books that I’ve read over the past weeks, and that is Chanel Perfume by Francoise Aveline. I was actually hunting for Chanel-related books at the library because I’m sort of on a long-term learning quest, and I’d like to read up on Chanel alongside my usual fiction stash. I find it refreshing to switch between fiction and non-fiction books, btw.

I think I read Chanel Perfume at the right time – just before going for my olfactory journey at the Chanel Fragrance and Beauty Boutique at Marina Bay Sands. I’m trying to find some time to write a blog post about the olfactory journey, and I really need to get started on it soon!

So here we have Chanel Perfume, a relatively thin book which you can probably browse through really quickly at the library without having to actually borrow it. This version has a hard cover.

Sponsored Review

Some of you may have read my post on the box of Soap & Glory goodies which the London HQ so kindly sent to me recently. Since then, I have taken Puck (that’s the pink rubber duck) on some adventures!

Today’s post consists of photos from our trips over the past weeks. I don’t consider this post a review per se, but I’m sure it tells you quite a bit about Puck! I definitely had lots of fun taking these photos. :D

Here’s Puck eyeing up a slice of pie at Don’s Pie Club, China Square Central. It was Sunday, and we were there to visit the weekend flea market.

Giveaway: Benefit Cosmetics b.right! Radiant Skincare Deluxe Kit

It’s the end of yet another week! It’s comforting to know that Tuesday is a public holiday, so rejoice! To beat your Sunday/Monday blues, the blog is, in partnership with Benefit Cosmetics, holding a giveaway!

I’m sure many of you have read my blog post on Benefit’s b.right! Radiant Skincare event, which I attended along with other beauty bloggers in April. Judging from the numerous queries (both on the blog and via Facebook), I see that you are all thrilled about b.right!. :) Now, here’s your chance to own your very own deluxe kit from Benefit’s b.right! range!

There’s no doubt that Benefit puts in loads of effort in packaging their products, making them quirky, pretty, and almost trophy-like on the vanity desk. When it comes to their deluxe kit, there’s no exception. Housed in a pretty aqua-themed box are three of b.right! range’s basic items in cute miniature sizes, namely the Triple Performing Facial Emulsion SPF 15 PA++ (8.9ml), Foamingly Clean Facial Wash (8.9g), and It’s Potent! Eye Cream (3.0g). You’ve read my reviews, it’s about time to experience them for yourself! There are five sets of these babies to be won!

Product Review: Lush Rub Rub Rub Shower Scrub

I thought I’d write a review on Lush Rub Rub Rub before I finish the entire tub (yes, it has been that long – or rather, the tub’s pretty small!). :) I got this in my Lush haul, and it’s the third and final Lush product in said haul.

I came across Rub Rub Rub when browsing Lush’s website and since I was low on scrubs, I decided to give it a try. Roseanne (who is located in Melbourne and helped me purchase my haul stuff) told me that Rub Rub Rub is available in two sizes – 125g and 250g. I decided on 250g because I go through scrubs so quickly!

Product Review: Lush Dreamwash Shower Smoothie

I’m finally reviewing this! I got Lush Dreamwash last month (part of my Lush haul). I had initially wanted to get Gumback Express, but it isn’t available in Melbourne (where Roseanne is), so I decided to get Dreamwash instead.

Here it is, 250g of Dreamwash in a tub! Dreamwash is a mild and soothing shower smoothie, perfect for sensitive skin which requires lots of TLC.

A Peek At My Style: Gold Rush Macrame Bracelet by Sophine Giam on Etsy

I’ve been receiving so many packages recently, I’m losing track of what I’m supposed to receive and what’s pending, LOL! Okay, I just reminded myself that I’m still waiting for my headband haul to arrive. Hurry, AB Variety! :)

Today, I came home to find two packages waiting for me, one of which is an accessory I ordered from Sophine Giam on Etsy - a handmadGold Rush Macrame Bracelet!

Pretty, isn’t it? :) It is made with yellow waxed linen and Tibetan antique gold solid beads. You know, I’m hardly a gold or yellow person, but recently, I’ve started to incorporate gold and yellow tones into my wardrobe wherever possible (tastefully, without looking like a walking fruit). To me (now), yellow symbolises something positive, like hope, or happiness. This bracelet reminds me to always look on the bright side of life, that I am very blessed to be where I am, to have what I have, to live the life I lead. Born under the sign of Leo, which rules gold, yellow, and hues of the Sun, it’s no wonder I was attracted to this! ❤
