Before we start yet another brand new week, I’d like to sneak in another Peek At My Style post. I’m currently obsessed with all things nautical!

A couple of weeks ago, I took a stroll along the boardwalk at Marina Bay Sands and snapped a few shots just for you. I’m opening the post with one of my favourite shots that day, along with a very inspiring quote.

Romantic Lace Nail Tutorial ♥

Okay, so Valentine’s Day is just a few days away! While I stand by my opinion that it is over commercialised and I wouldn’t spend large amounts of money just to celebrate the occasion, I do believe that it is a day worth noting. For those of you out there who have planned great stuff, do have lots of fun! :)

As you put your outfit together, here’s an inexpensive way to add a romantic touch. I don’t know how many of you have tried the lace manicure, but I did it on a whim and guess what – everyone loved it!

I popped by a local art supplies store and picked up a metre of black lace for S$0.85. I did come across the most beautiful and delicate cream lace, but since I’d planned to have a neutral base, black lace would work better.

A Chunk of My Weekday: Hello From Benefit Cosmetics Singapore!

To kickstart the week, I’m gonna show you some sneaks of our local Benefit Cosmetics office! :)

You may already know (from the stickers that come with the products) that Starlight Cosmetics Pte Ltd was the local distributor for Benefit Cosmetics. The distributorship has ceased, and Benefit Cosmetics has partnered with Luxasia, resulting in the birth of Benefit Cosmetics Southeast Asia. So yup, some changes there.

And with the joint venture, Benefit Cosmetics moved to a new office at Luxasia Building on Tai Seng Street just last month. Last Friday, I popped by to visit the Benebabes and brought them some noms! Say hello to Lana, Gabbi and Betty – you can spot them from across the street! ;) You’re looking at the exterior of the conference room.

Product Review: OPI Start to Finish Base & Top Coat, OPI On Collins Ave Nail Lacquer

On one of my trips to Nail Vibe sometime towards the end of last year, I added a pack of nail foils and two more bottles to my stash! :)

I got OPI’s Start to Finish Base & Top Coat, and OPI On Collins Ave. I’ve always wanted a two-in-one; the moment I saw Start to Finish, I swept it off the shelf! And you know how obsessed I am with the colours coral, navy and mustard – which was why I had to have another coral lacquer even though I already have China Glaze’s High Hopes in my collection.

I’m currently on the hunt for a nice mustard nail lacquer. Any recommendations? :)
