A Chunk of My Weekday: Hello From Benefit Cosmetics Singapore!

Hello lovelies!

To kickstart the week, I’m gonna show you some sneaks of our local Benefit Cosmetics office! :)

You may already know (from the stickers that come with the products) that Starlight Cosmetics Pte Ltd was the local distributor for Benefit Cosmetics. The distributorship has ceased, and Benefit Cosmetics has partnered with Luxasia, resulting in the birth of Benefit Cosmetics Southeast Asia. So yup, some changes there.

And with the joint venture, Benefit Cosmetics moved to a new office at Luxasia Building on Tai Seng Street just last month. Last Friday, I popped by to visit the Benebabes and brought them some noms! Say hello to Lana, Gabbi and Betty – you can spot them from across the street! ;) You’re looking at the exterior of the conference room.

The entrance to the office is adorned with the brand signage we all love (of course!), lit and mounted on a glossy signature pink feature wall.

Shift your gaze down, and… Why hello, Miss Posietint! Last time I saw you, you were just a baby. Look how you’ve grown!

Don’t you just love her? This giant model just cheers you right up, doesn’t it?

[In Sean Anderson fashion] Ladies and gentlemen, I give you, Benefit Cosmetics Singapore!

Here’s a shot of me with Miss Posietint! A multi-tasker, she sits pretty as one of the brand’s best-selling products.

The team is currently still in the process of putting finishing touches on the office decoration, so I’m just going to offer you peeks at corners of the office. :P

The walls are draped in that familiar pink wallpaper with black and white floral motifs – identical to their brow bar deco (and my Benefit water bottle!)…

A large glass partition separates the main working area from the spacious conference room. But of course, nothing’s ordinary at Benefit! The glass partition is embellished with some of the brand’s famous slogans, such as “Laughter is the best cosmetic…”, “Take a brow!”, “Hey girlfriend… You’re beautiful!”, and “Looking good is the best revenge.”, to name a few.

The office is a lovely place to be. It embodies the spirit of the brand – everywhere you look, there’s something pink, something fun – all of the Benebabes, hard at work, have Benefit wallpapers on their laptops, product releases flashing across their screens… they discuss marketing ideas, work on campaigns… and all of it is for you, Benefit fans! :)

Balloons in the office, oh yes! ;)

Here’s a portion of the large pink desk that sits in the conference room – on it, is a bag of Benefit goodies! A Benefit 2012 calendar, their Spring 2012 catalog, and the latest Box O’ Powder – Hervana! I’ll be reviewing Hervana shortly, so stay tuned! I’m sure lots of you will love it.

I hope this post chased away your Monday blues! :P

Tell me, what do you love about Benefit?

J

  1. What a beautiful office! No such thing as monday blues if you work here! What i love most about benefit is of course their marketing; who wouldn’t like to be told “Hey girlfriend… You’re beautiful!”? ;) x

  2. Hi! I really envy you! Why do you have a chance to go to the Benefit Office? :) Will you pop by the office again? If yes, do post more photos of the finalised office… :)

    • Hi ST! Just a quick background on myself – I’ve been helping Benefit Cosmetics Singapore moderate their Facebook page since sometime in May 2010, so I work pretty closely with the local Benefit team. It has been some time since I caught up with the Benebabes, and since they also recently launched Hervana, I popped by for a visit and picked up the product for review. Yes I’ll be back when the office is fully decorated! Will post more pics then. :)

  3. *RISE HANDS!!!*
