Hi everyone! :) How are you planning to spend the weekend? I’m going to hit town (have some serious shopping to do!) and if I’m lucky I’ll manage a movie in the afternoon.

Okay, so here I have a neat little package from Enavose, an up-and-coming premium beauty brand launched in Singapore last year with a commitment to being natural and eco-friendly. I love the card that came with the package!

I appreciate the amount of thought and attention to detail the brand put into wrapping up the package – crisp paper, string, personalised card – if you were to receive a parcel from someone who loves you, it would look like this. :)

Underneath the crisp wrapper is a sleek brown box bearing the brand’s logo.

Enavose’s products are made in Switzerland, and the brand ensures that these products:

  • do not contain parabens, SLES (that’s Sodium Laureth Sulphate), mineral oil or allergenic fragrance,
  • are not tested on animals,
  • contain natural preservatives whenever possible,
  • are tested under dermatological supervision, and
  • are made from ingredients and raw materials derived safely, with species protection in mind.

Nestled in the box is one of their best-selling products – the H2Osis Black Tea Quench Mask, along with a couple of sachets of Black Tea with Mediterranean Eucalyptus and Oil of Bergamot, and a magic scroll (contents of which shall remain secret).

The tea’s to be enjoyed together with the mask. I thought it was a pretty clever idea! Prior to this I’d never had black tea (my staple is green tea), so imagine my delight. :)

Here’s the star of today’s post – the H2Osis Black Tea Quench Mask, what Enavose calls “the ultimate hydration haven”.

As its name suggests, Sweet Black Tea is the key ingredient in this product. Swiss Glacial Water, Arnica Montana Flower, Gentian Root, Yarrow, and Lecithin are also active ingredients.

The mask promises to:

  • moisturise the skin from within,
  • revitalise dull skin in just 15 minutes,
  • hydrate the skin all week long with time-released Swiss Glacial Water,
  • reinforce the skin’s ability to retain higher levels of moisture,
  • leave skin feeling softer, suppler and invigorated.

Out of the box, the mask is encased in a round jar with an airless mechanism. The mechanism ensures that the product does not come into contact with air or contaminants and is kept at its optimum freshness.

Remove the white round lid and you’ll see a small opening in the center of a raised white disk. To dispense the product, push the disk downwards completely.

Ta-daa! The product emerges from the small opening and there you have one use’s worth of product. How convenient and hygienic! No more sticking spatulas (which I always lose down the sink) or fingers into the tub. I must say I really like this method of dispensation.

Despite using a moisturiser on a daily basis, I make it a point to use a hydration mask at least once a week. For some reason, I was suffering from a bout of dull skin with some redness on the cheeks the week I was supposed to start using this mask.

I usually try not to embark on a new skin care regime or use a new product until my skin resumes its normal state, but I decided to give this a whirl because I was due for a hydration mask.

The mask is a pleasant, very pale aqua gel with no distinct scent. To use, apply generously to cleansed face and throat, avoiding the eye area. After 10 to 15 minutes, rinse thoroughly with warm water. You may mask once a week or whenever the skin requires a moisture boost.

Upon application, the mask made my skin feel cool and nice. I waited the full 15 minutes and washed off as directed to find my skin brighter and softer. While I didn’t expect it to do much more than that, I woke up the next day to very soft and supple skin, and the redness on my cheeks had completely disappeared – bonus! :) I really like this mask.

    • I have pretty sensitive skin, and so far have had no problem with this product, thank goodness! :)

I think it’s helpful that their products do not contain parabens, SLES, mineral oil and allergenic fragrances. Kind of eliminates most of the triggers.

  1. Hi Jade!

This is cool stuff :) REALLY! can be exchanged or refund within 30days!

It can only prove 1 thing… this product is super reliable rite? LOL! I’m hunting for a hydrating mask now… and i think this came in handy.. my skin is pretty crazy lately due to the weather i think… :( it flaked super badly.. the redness and the tight feeling after wash is back… :( I’m using the Chanel Hydramax + Active Nutrition Nourishing Cream for Dry Skin (Tester) now in the night and help to subside the redness a little.. how cool is tt?
    :)

    • Hello Shaynnie! :) I think the 30-day money back policy is pretty cool too. :) Have you entered the contest yet?

Could the cleanser be unsuitable for your skin type?

  2. Hi everyone, just thought I’d share my experience with Enavose to all of you, I was interested in the FloraComfort micellar water and since they were having promotion ($29/bottle instead of $45), I ordered 2 bottles online. Everything was great and they seemed really professional, delivery was very fast too, I received my package within 3 days. Imagine my surprise when I opened the package and only one bottle was sent. I then sent them an email regarding this error through a link in their order confirmation, and when the next morning I have yet to receive any acknowledgement whatsoever, I decided to email them again, this time through the ‘Contact Us’ section on their website. I also tried to contact the phone number provided on their website but couldn’t get through (it rang once and then switched to a continuous high-pitched tone). I rang them twice with the same result so I just gave up.

I’m still waiting for their reply at the moment, they do promise they will reply any enquiry within 2 business days (stated so on the website). We’ll see about that, I’ll keep you posted but at the moment I’m a bit disappointed with their customer service. I’d say don’t expect too much out of the 30-days refund promise, it might just be mere words.

    • Dear Rush,

Thank you for your feedback and I’m sorry to learn about your experience. I have brought this incident to Enavose’s immediate attention this afternoon. Enavose has since looked into it, and I have been informed that they have contacted you directly to rectify the situation. I would just like to let you know that the delay in their response was due to their server being down, therefore they were not able to receive and attend to the emails in good time. Thank you for sending me this comment, and I hope this matter will be resolved to your satisfaction. Let me know how it goes? :)

      • Hi Jade,

I’m glad to report that the matter has been resolved, and now that I’ve read your reply, you may have helped me in getting their attention faster so thank you for that :)

I received an email from their rep saying there was indeed an error in shipment and that they have sent the second bottle to me. The rep seemed apologetic and they did say the reason it took longer for them to attend to my email was because their server was down. They also gave me $10 online voucher valid for 1 month as a gesture of apology.

In the end they seem to be a good and professional company, hence I retract my comments above regarding their profesionalism and the 30-day refund. I was just freaking out when they didn’t reply immediately and when I tried to call their number and it sounded bogus. I have an experience with other customer service where they contacted me within minutes after I emailed them :)

        • Hi Rush,

Thank you for keeping me updated! I’m so happy this has been resolved. I want only the best for you, and I felt it was my duty to elevate this to Enavose so that action may be taken. :) Thank you for this!

          • Dear Jade, just an additional update regarding Enavose, I arrived at work today to find a package from Enavose on my desk. I was confused since I didn’t order anything from them so I opened them and it contained a bunch of samples! It was a lovely surprise and definitely a happy ending for both I and Enavose, since I was ready to swear off the brand when this thing first started. Their rep, Felicia did mention about a surprise coming my way but I thought it was the $10 e-voucher I mentioned, so this was definitely a surprise! ^_^

I applaud their customer service because they tried to respond promptly (despite the server issue), they were apologetic, and they were really good in keeping the customer happy. Hope they keep up the good things! (On a side note, this whole thing made me stumble upon your blog which is definitely an added plus ;-p)

            Cheers, Rush

          • Dear Rush, thanks for the update! :) That sounds really awesome; am so happy for you! Thanks for all your support!
